He was named CEO of Philo in 2014, an OTT streaming service focused on entertainment that became national in November 2017. He served on Philo’s board before taking on the role of CEO. Andrew Mccollum also mentored Philo’s co-founders and later became one of the company’s first customers. Prior to Philo, he was a member of the Facebook founding team, and he has a long-standing interest in the social design of products. After Facebook, he started working for Philo’s Traders, New Agency Pals (NEA), and Fly bridge Partners as an entrepreneur. He continues to be a consultant and active early-stage angel investor.
